Testing, testing 123!

  1. Malthus's teachings was definitely where the vast majority of Charles Darwin's theories of Natural Selection stemmed from. From my understandings of what I read in your blog, Malthus believed that food would eventually run out but tested this amongst animals which has never been done before. Malthus's work explains how population growth vs. food supply growth creates a struggle for resources. I studied on Charles Lyell which was only the geology side of Darwin's theories, therefore I found it interesting to see where Darwin learned about his natural selection ways. From your blog post and teachings, I thoroughly understood where Darwin learned which was indeed from Malthus!
